Samastha Madrasa Count Reaches 11,134 with Eight New Recognitions

The Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidyabhyasa Board (SKIMVB) has granted recognition to eight new madrasas, bringing the total number of Samastha-affiliated institutions to an impressive 11,134. The newly added madrasas are spread across Bengaluru, Kasaragod, Malappuram, Palakkad, Dindigul, and Tirunelveli.

In a significant development, the board has also approved the introduction of play schools on select campuses under ASMI (Association of Samastha Minority Institution) schools starting from the next academic year. ASMI schools, which operate as English-medium institutions under SKIMVB, aim to expand their educational offerings by catering to younger children.

Samastha, a prominent educational body in Kerala, has been instrumental in promoting Islamic education through its network of madrasas across India. With this latest recognition, the board continues its efforts to provide structured and quality education to students in various regions, including those outside Kerala.
