How to file a complaint

Write to the Grievance Officer at the email address above. To help us act quickly, please include:

  • The full URL of the article or content concerned
  • The specific part you are complaining about
  • The nature of your grievance (for example: factual inaccuracy, defamation, privacy, copyright, obscenity, or a breach of the Code of Ethics)
  • Your name and contact details

Our timelines

  • We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours of receipt and issue you a ticket reference.
  • We dispose of the complaint within 15 days of receipt and inform you of the action taken.

If you are not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by our Grievance Officer, you may escalate the matter to the self-regulating body of publishers of which News Darpan is a member, and thereafter to the oversight mechanism of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, as provided under the Rules.
