‘Revive’ launched to improve students’ academic standards
The General Education department’s ‘Revive, Navajeevanam’ programme has been inaugurated to address difficulties faced by lower and upper primary students in Malayalam, English and Mathematics. The programme is being implemented through Samagra Shiksha Keralam. Minister for General Education N. Samsudheen inaugurated it at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, here on Tuesday.
Focus on learning gaps
Revive will identify the areas in which students lag behind and introduce effective teaching-learning activities to address those difficulties. The programme will also analyse students’ learning achievements and promote continuous improvement in teaching practice, the Minister said.
