The Art of Living’s three-day Happiness Programme has begun at the Tikariya Sports Club and Community Centre in Belkhor, with the aim of promoting mental health, positive thinking and a healthy lifestyle. The programme is being organised from 8 to 10 October.

The programme was inaugurated by Manish Purohit, Plant Head of Tikariya Cement Works, who formally opened the event by lighting a ceremonial lamp. The inauguration marked the start of sessions focused on helping participants develop a more positive and balanced approach to daily life.

During the programme, participants are being guided through the practice of Sudarshan Kriya and meditation. Trainers are also explaining practical ways to manage stress, maintain mental peace, improve concentration and achieve emotional balance.

The sessions are being conducted by Art of Living trainers Dr. Seema Singh and Sumeet Srivastava. Aparna Srivastava is supporting the programme as a volunteer.

Participants are being encouraged to develop positive thinking through regular practice. They are also being motivated to deal with the challenges of everyday life in a better and more balanced manner.

Keeping the convenience of local people in mind, the programme’s sessions are being held at two locations. The morning session is being conducted at the Community Centre in Belkhor, while the evening session is being held at the Tikariya Sports Club.

According to the organisers, the initiative is intended to increase awareness within the local community about mental health, happiness and a positive lifestyle. Through the programme, people are being encouraged to recognise their inner capabilities and to give importance to peace, balance and happiness in life.

The organisers said the sessions are designed to offer participants practical guidance along with regular exercises in meditation and Sudarshan Kriya. The programme is therefore bringing together mental wellness, positive thinking and healthy lifestyle practices at the two venues in Tikariya and Belkhor.
