Additionally, there is talk of a Constitution Amendment Bill related to delimitation being considered. However, the tentative agenda shared by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs did not explicitly include these bills.

Congress Emphasizes Attendance

In the Rajya Sabha, Congress chief whip Jairam Ramesh issued a detailed three-line whip, urging party members to be present from 11:00 a.m. until adjournment on all three days. “Very important issues will be taken up for discussion in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday i.e. 10th, 11th and 12th August, 2026,” he stated, adding that members must support the party’s stand without fail. A similar whip was issued to Congress MPs in the Lok Sabha.
