Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Rahi criticizes Rahul Gandhi's remarks on Modi

On Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Prisons, Suresh Rahi, took a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking in Bahraich, Rahi criticized Gandhi's use of "indecent language" for the PM, saying it reflects the Congress leader's "true values." He added, "What more can be expected from him?"

Rahi, who was in Bahraich to celebrate Independence Day, extended his wishes to the people of the district and the state. As part of the celebrations, he paid tribute to martyrs by laying wreaths and also participated in a 'Tiranga Yatra' to mark the occasion.

The minister's comments come amid heightened political tensions, with Rahul Gandhi recently making sharp attacks on PM Modi in his speeches. The Congress leader has been vocal in criticizing the government on various issues, including unemployment, inflation, and allegations of crony capitalism.

Rahi's remarks highlight the ongoing war of words between the BJP and Congress as the country gears up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP has often accused Gandhi of disrespecting the nation's leaders, while Congress has maintained that it is holding the government accountable for its policies.
