Central Bank of India Opens 4,500 Apprentice Posts for 2026-27

The Central Bank of India has issued a notification inviting applications for 4,500 apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026–27. The online registration process will commence on June 12, 2026, and will remain open until June 22, 2026. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for the first week of July 2026.
Eligibility and Selection Process
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university and be between 20 and 28 years of age as of May 31, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other reserved categories as per government regulations. The apprenticeship duration will be 12 months, and selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month. However, apprentices will not be eligible for additional allowances or permanent employment upon completion of the training period.
The selection process will consist of a 100-mark online objective test covering general financial awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, computer knowledge, English, and banking products and services. Notably, there will be no negative marking in the exam. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state they are applying for. Those who studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 will be exempted from the language test. The final engagement will depend on document verification and medical fitness.
Application Procedure
Interested candidates must follow a two-step application process:
1. Registration on the NATS Portal
- Visit the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in and register using valid details.
- Search for the "Central Bank of India Apprenticeship 2026–27" opportunity.
- Note down the Enrolment ID generated by the portal for future reference.
- Await communication from BFSI SSC via email to proceed to the next step.
2. Registration on the BFSI SSC Portal
- Log in to the BFSI SSC portal at beep.bfsissc.com.
- Complete the application form by filling in all required details and uploading necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the final application form and download or print a copy for reference.
- Regularly check your email and the BFSI SSC portal for updates regarding the online exam and subsequent steps.
Important Notes
The bank has released a state-wise distribution of training seats, and candidates are advised to review the official notification for further details. Apprenticeship opportunities do not guarantee permanent employment, and selected candidates will only receive the specified stipend during the training period.
