Dhanbad Prepares for NEET Retest on June 21 Amid Strict Oversight

Dhanbad is all set to host the NEET (UG) 2026 retest on June 21, with the district administration ensuring stringent measures for a smooth and fair examination process. The test will be conducted across seven designated centres in the district, and preparations have been finalized to prevent any malpractice or disruptions.

Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan chaired a review meeting via video conferencing to oversee arrangements and issue necessary instructions. Officials, including magistrates, police personnel, and centre superintendents, have been briefed on their responsibilities as per the joint order issued by the administration. Emphasizing transparency and strict adherence to protocols, the DC urged all involved to maintain vigilance throughout the examination process.

Additionally, the district-level coordination committee (DLCC) has been tasked with thoroughly reviewing arrangements at all centres. The DC directed the committee to ensure compliance with all guidelines and address any gaps in preparations to uphold the integrity of the examination.

The NEET retest holds significant importance for students, and the administration is leaving no stone unturned to create a secure and fair environment. With strict oversight and detailed planning, officials aim to ensure the examination proceeds without any issues.
