SBI PO Recruitment 2026: Apply for 1500 Vacancies, Register by July 7

New Delhi, June 18, 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced recruitment for 1,500 probationary officer (PO) positions. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website, sbi.bank.in. The registration process will remain open until July 7, 2026.

Of the total vacancies, 1,446 are regular positions, distributed as follows: 588 for Unreserved (UR), 144 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 390 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 216 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 108 for Scheduled Tribes (ST). Additionally, 54 backlog vacancies are available, comprising 18 for SC and 36 for ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of April 1, 2026. Applicants should hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification in any discipline. Final-year or final-semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they can furnish proof of graduation by September 30, 2026, if shortlisted for an interview. A 4% horizontal reservation is available for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under Section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

2. Register by selecting the "New Registration" option.
3. Complete the application form.
4. Upload the required documents.
5. Pay the application fee.
6. Submit the form and download the fee receipt for future reference.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of three phases:
- Phase I: Online Preliminary Examination
- Phase II: Online Main Examination
- Phase III: Psychometric Test, Interview, and Group Exercises
