A case involving two youths travelling in an Audi allegedly assaulting an ISKCON temple priest has come to light in Gwalior. The priest from the ISKCON temple in Daulatganj was allegedly dragged out of his car and beaten in the middle of the road. The two youths are accused of hitting him repeatedly with kicks and punches and breaking his mobile phone.

After the incident, the two men allegedly got back into their Audi and fled from the spot while threatening the priest. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced. The priest has submitted a complaint application at the Kotwali police station, and police are trying to identify the accused on the basis of the Audi’s registration number.

According to the information available, Arvind Rathore, a resident of the Gudi-Gudha Naka area, is a priest at the ISKCON temple located in Daulatganj. On Saturday morning, he was travelling to the temple in his car to attend the Mangala Aarti.

Near Naya Bazar, an Audi came in front of his car and blocked his way. When Rathore sounded the horn and tried to get past, the Audi driver allegedly did not give him space to move aside. An argument followed, and one of the youths travelling in the Audi allegedly began abusing the priest.

As the dispute escalated, Rathore moved his car backwards and managed to drive ahead. However, the two youths allegedly continued to remain angry. They began following his car in their Audi.

Near Band Market, in front of the Kotwali police station, the youths allegedly drove their Audi ahead of Rathore’s car and stopped it, blocking his route. They then got out of the Audi and, according to the allegation, forcibly pulled the priest out of his car.

The two men allegedly began assaulting him on the road. The priest was caught off guard by the sudden attack and could not respond immediately. The youths allegedly beat him severely with kicks and punches. During the assault, his mobile phone was also broken.

After the alleged assault, the two youths threatened the priest, got into their Audi and fled the spot. The entire episode was captured on CCTV, and the footage has now come to light.

Following the incident, Arvind Rathore reached the Kotwali police station and submitted a complaint application to the police. The CCTV footage is being examined as part of the inquiry into the sequence of events. Police are also trying to establish the identities of both youths using the registration number of the Audi.

The incident has raised questions about how the youths allegedly managed to drag a priest out of his car and assault him in a busy market area, close to the Kotwali police station. The identity of the alleged attackers and the status of further action will become clear after the police investigation.
