American Influencer Marvin Achi Objects After Shivani Kumari Applies Soot To His Face

A social media dispute has emerged between American influencer Marvin Achi and Uttar Pradesh-based influencer Shivani Kumari, after a video showing Achi with blackened face triggered different reactions online.

Marvin Achi is a well-known American fitness trainer, model and chemical engineer. He came into the spotlight in India after travelling to the country, particularly to its villages, to meet Indian social media influencers such as Shivani Kumari and “Desi Tarzan” Raja Yadav.

Shivani Kumari is a resident of Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh. Achi was seen travelling and spending time with her at several places. He also appeared to be engaging with Indian food and becoming familiar with Indian culture during his time in the country.

The controversy began after Shivani Kumari applied soot to Achi’s face and made him “Tesu”. She recorded the incident and uploaded the video herself on social media. The video led to different reactions from several people.

After this, Achi released a video objecting to the way he had been treated. The video was translated into Hindi, and his objection became part of the discussion surrounding the incident.

Shivani Kumari also responded to Achi’s video. She said that they had not caused the foreign guest any pain that would make him feel sad.

Different statements from the two influencers are now being discussed on social media. The dispute between Marvin Achi and Shivani Kumari has remained a topic of conversation online.
