Mobile Phone Explodes Inside Gwalior Clinic, Sparks Panic Among Patients

A mobile phone suddenly exploded inside a clinic in Gwalior, triggering panic among patients and their attendants. The phone caught fire immediately after the blast, and flames were put out with water from a bucket. The incident was captured on the clinic’s CCTV camera.

The incident took place at Drishti Clinic in Chauhan Pyau, in the Thatipur police station area of Gwalior. According to the information available, a young man had reached the clinic for treatment. While he was inside the clinic, his mobile phone suddenly exploded with a loud blast and caught fire.

The sight of flames rising from the phone frightened the people present at the clinic. Patients and their attendants began to panic, creating stampede-like conditions inside the premises.

The clinic staff responded quickly after the phone caught fire. They filled a bucket with water and poured it over the flames. Because of the staff’s presence of mind and prompt action, the fire was brought under control before it could spread. A major accident was thus averted, and the lives of people present were saved.

The complete sequence was recorded by a CCTV camera installed inside the clinic. The footage of the incident has now gone viral on social media.

The clinic is reportedly owned by Dr Ashutosh Sharma.

The exact reason why the mobile phone exploded and caught fire has not yet been established. The incident has once again raised questions about mobile phone batteries and phone safety.
