The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on Saturday formally invited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to attend the annual Salakatla and Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.
TTD Chairman B. R. Naidu led a delegation comprising board members Jyotula Nehru, Panabaka Lakshmi and Janakidevi, along with Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, to the Chief Minister's residence in Amaravati to extend the invitation.
Vedic blessings and review meeting
TTD Vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanams to Mr. Naidu during the visit. The Chief Minister used the occasion to review the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams with the TTD chairman and Executive Officer.
He directed the officials to focus on devotee amenities, security and other arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities. The annual Brahmotsavams are among the most significant religious events at the Tirumala temple, drawing large congregations of devotees.
