CM Revanth Reddy orders urgent push to complete Warangal super-speciality hospital

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of construction at the Warangal super-speciality hospital and ordered officials to accelerate works over the next month despite funds having been sanctioned through the green channel.

Round-the-clock monitoring ordered

Reviewing the hospital's progress, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure construction proceeds round-the-clock for the next 30 days. He directed that officials from the Chief Minister's Office should regularly visit the construction site and review progress on the ground.

Revanth Reddy told authorities to appoint special officers to monitor different components of the project and assign specific responsibilities to individual officers. He also instructed the Warangal district Collector to personally monitor the hospital works on a daily basis.

OP services to begin at earliest

The Chief Minister directed officials to make outpatient services available at the earliest. He said the OP services should be organised on the lines of those at the TIMS hospital in Sanath Nagar.

Separately, he directed that staff quarters at Sanath Nagar TIMS be taken up immediately.

MP Vem Narender Reddy, senior officials Sridhar, Vikas Raj, Manick Raj, Christina Z. Chongthu, T.K. Sridevi, Warangal Collector Satyasharda Devi, and Hanamkonda Collector Chahat Bajpai were among those present at the review.
