Telangana Government to Launch Dashboard for Monitoring Scheme Progress

The Telangana government will establish a comprehensive dashboard to monitor the progress, targets, and implementation of its various schemes and programmes. A special cell will also be created to ensure timely achievement of these objectives, according to an announcement made on Monday.

Push for Coordination and Accountability

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, addressing a meeting of department secretaries, emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination for the effective execution of the State’s flagship development and welfare schemes. He urged officials to align their efforts with the government’s Vision Document–2047, which outlines long-term goals for Telangana's development.

Jaju also highlighted the need for timely submission of Utilisation Certificates and project proposals to the Central government to avoid delays in fund disbursement. Departments were instructed to prepare detailed reports showcasing innovative initiatives and success stories ahead of an upcoming review meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This meeting will assess the performance of flagship schemes, centrally sponsored programmes, and the State’s financial health.

T-Fiber Expansion and Agricultural Advisory

The Chief Secretary called for the extension of T-Fiber connectivity to all government offices, including Gram Panchayats, to enhance digital access across the State. Additionally, he raised concerns about water scarcity for paddy cultivation due to the El Niño effect. Officials were directed to educate farmers on alternative crops that could be more viable under current conditions.
