Revanth Reddy Sets November 15 Deadline for Global Summit Venue Works

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to complete preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 by the end of November, while setting an earlier deadline of November 15 for works at the open venue.

He said the summit must be organised on an international scale to attract industrialists and investors from India and abroad.

Open venue works to be completed by November 15

During a visit to Bharat Future City on Monday (October 19, 2026), Mr. Revanth Reddy reviewed infrastructure development being undertaken ahead of the summit.

The Invest Telangana Global Summit is scheduled to be held from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City.

The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the works at the open venue by November 15 and to focus on the infrastructure and other facilities required to host the event.

He asked officials to adopt a systematic approach to the preparations and ensure that the arrangements reflected the stature of an international investment summit.

Mr. Revanth Reddy also called for the formation of a dedicated committee to oversee the arrangements and monitor progress periodically.

The deadline is intended to leave the venue and related facilities ready before the summit, for which the government plans to showcase Telangana’s development ambitions and attract investments.

Skills university work expedited

During the inspection, the Chief Minister visited the ongoing construction of the Young India Skills University and instructed officials to expedite the work.

He directed them to ensure that the works were completed at least 15 days ahead of the stipulated deadline.

Mr. Revanth Reddy suggested increasing the workforce, if necessary, to avoid delays in completing the project.

The visit to the university campus was part of the review of infrastructure development at Bharat Future City ahead of the investment summit.

The summit is expected to provide a platform to showcase Telangana’s investment opportunities under the theme, “Your Investments, Our Assurance”.

Mr. Revanth Reddy said the event was not merely a business gathering but an important platform that could transform the political and economic landscape of Telangana.

Police commissionerate inaugurated

Earlier, Mr. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed Future City Police Commissionerate at Ibrahimpatnam.

He opened the office of the Commissioner of Police and extended his greetings to Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi.

Later, he visited the Young India Skills University campus at Bharat Future City and laid the foundation stone for the National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM) campus.

The NIUM campus will be located on the premises of the Future City Development Authority (FCDA), where the Chief Minister also inspected a model of the proposed campus.

Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, MPs Vem Narender Reddy, Mallu Ravi and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and MLAs Malreddy Rangareddy, Veerlapalli Shankar, Prakash Goud and Kale Yadaiah participated in the programme.

Corporation chairpersons, Director-General of Police C.V. Anand and senior officials were also present.
