Natural lifestyle choices including wholesome food, clean water, pure air and sufficient rest form the foundation of good health, naturopathy expert Manthena Satyanarayana Raju told an awareness meeting on Sunday.
Speaking at the event titled 'Health protection through Yoga and naturopathy' organised jointly by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and the Department of AYUSH, Dr. Raju highlighted health problems stemming from insufficient physical activity and lack of adequate rest.

The naturopathy expert discussed how shifting food habits and the introduction of new ingredients into diets affect the human body. He asserted that preventive care can help people avoid several lifestyle-related health problems.

Bala Krishna, vice-president of 'Better Living Science, Technology and Digital Wellness', emphasised that emotional wellness carries equal importance to physical health. He advised people to manage stress, anxiety, anger and negative emotions in a balanced manner.
Stressing the role of positive thinking and a peaceful mind for a happy and healthy life, Mr. Bala Krishna urged attendees to dedicate time daily to yoga, meditation and exercise. He recommended staying connected with nature and spending quality time with family and friends.
