Naidu, Pawan Kalyan to launch rural employment programme in Nellore on Thursday

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will participate in a rural development programme at Ramapuram village in Udayagiri Assembly constituency in SPSR Nellore district on Thursday (September 24).

The two leaders will attend the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission-Grameen (VB-G RAM G) 'Palle Panduga' programme, which forms part of the central government's rural employment and livelihood mission.

Ministers review preparations

Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana inspected the arrangements at Ramapuram on Monday. They were accompanied by Chief Minister's programme coordinator Mantena Venkata Satyanarayana Raju, Nellore Collector Himanshu Shukla and Superintendent of Police Ajitha Vejendla.

The Ministers reviewed arrangements for the helipad, vehicle parking, meeting venue, VIP movement and public facilities with officials. They enquired about the responsibilities assigned to various departments.

Anticipating a large turnout, the Ministers directed officials to focus on drinking water, sanitation, traffic management, parking, electricity, medical services and security arrangements. They stressed the need for coordination among all departments and instructed officials to ensure there were no lapses.

Cow shelter inauguration planned

The inspection team later visited the gosala (cow shelter) at Kakolluvaripalli, where ongoing works are scheduled to be inaugurated by Mr. Naidu. They directed the officials concerned to complete the works and ensure that all necessary facilities were in place before the inauguration.
