Ghaziabad District Magistrate conducts public hearing to address citizen grievances

District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad conducted a public hearing at his office in the Collectorate in Ghaziabad, where he listened seriously to the problems and complaints of the common people. Citizens from various areas of the district presented petitions to the District Magistrate regarding land possession, revenue disputes, illegal encroachment, public facilities, pension, ration card, water supply and other public issues.

The District Magistrate listened to each complaint with seriousness and sensitivity and directed the concerned officials to ensure quality, effective and prompt redressal of complaints within the stipulated time frame. He instructed officials that in accordance with the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, quality resolution of every complainant's grievance should be ensured. He said that complaints received in the public hearing should not only be disposed of formally, but the complainant's problem should be resolved in a real and satisfactory manner, and feedback should also be taken from the complainant after disposal.

In this sequence, Dinesh Kumar Jain and his wife Vinita Jain, residents of Rampur, handed over a complaint petition to District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad during the public hearing on 01 September 2026 and informed him that their daughter had purchased a plot in Ator, Ghaziabad, which was illegally occupied by some people a few years ago. They said they have been continuously trying to get the plot vacated but have not been successful, which has caused them great distress. The District Magistrate took immediate action and formed a team of SDM, SHO and Tehsildar and directed swift action as per rules.

Dinesh Kumar Jain and his wife Vinita Jain told the media that after the District Magistrate's orders, the concerned officials provided quality resolution of their complaint by 08 pm at night. They did not get the plot but received a cheque for its current price in lieu of the plot. In just 08 hours, without spending any money, their problem was solved. It seemed like a miracle had happened. They said such a thing had never happened in their life and they had never heard that such matters could be resolved so quickly. They are extremely pleased with the justice provided by the District Magistrate. They wish that every district and every department should have an officer like him. They said they were already impressed with the working style of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad and had heard many good things about him, but what they heard was less. He is even more impressive, sensitive, justice-loving, duty-bound, understanding of human sentiments and a remover of people's sorrows, and they will always remain indebted to him.

During the public hearing, ADM L/A, ADM City, ADM E, City Magistrate and other officials were mainly present.
