District Magistrate Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar conducted a public hearing at his office chamber located in the Collectorate in Ghaziabad, listening to problems and complaints of common citizens who arrived from various areas of the district with seriousness and sensitivity. During the public hearing, a large number of citizens presented applications related to their problems before the District Magistrate and expressed expectation for their speedy resolution.

During the public hearing, complaints were received particularly regarding illegal occupation of land and property, revenue disputes, land-related fraud, and illegal encroachment, and requests were made to be benefited from schemes related to various departments including public facilities, pension, ration card, and Ayushman card. The District Magistrate, while carefully listening to each complainant's problem, directed the concerned officers to ensure quality, effective and speedy resolution within the stipulated time period after examining the received cases as per rules. He emphasized that eligible people should be ensured maximum benefit from the schemes.

The District Magistrate directed the concerned officers through video conferencing that information about various beneficial and public welfare schemes operated by the government should be made available to the common people through public awareness campaigns. He said that if any eligible person applies to avail the benefit of any one scheme, then the concerned officers should also ensure whether that person is eligible for other operational schemes or not. In case of eligibility, information about other schemes should be given to the concerned person and they should be ensured benefits from those schemes.

During the public hearing, a woman placed her difficulties before the District Magistrate and requested for ration card, Ayushman card and pension, upon which the District Magistrate called the officers of the concerned departments on the spot and got the woman's Antyodaya card and pension forms filled and thereafter directed to get the Ayushman card made. Along with this, a widow woman expressed gratitude through the District Magistrate for receiving benefits of five schemes and requested to be provided housing. Upon this, the District Magistrate assured that she would be provided housing soon. Similarly, a divyang woman expressed thanks to the District Magistrate for providing benefits of schemes.

The public hearing was attended by ADM Land Acquisition, ADM City, ADM Enforcement, City Magistrate and other officers.

The public hearing took place on the date of September 18, 2026. District Magistrate Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar personally supervised the process and ensured that on-site assistance was provided to several eligible persons, with applications being filled for them during the hearing itself to facilitate immediate action. The comprehensive approach adopted during this public hearing demonstrated the administration's commitment to addressing citizen grievances promptly and ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the genuinely deserving beneficiaries without unnecessary procedural delays. The presence of multiple senior officers including those responsible for land acquisition, city administration, and enforcement matters ensured that complaints spanning different domains could be addressed with appropriate expertise and authority during the same session.
