The piece, authored by the Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, was disseminated across state-specific social media handles in languages such as Telugu, Gujarati, and Punjabi.

Notably, the translations were not outsourced to Artificial Intelligence tools. Instead, the Congress relied on its state-level teams for the task, emphasizing human precision and cultural nuance. This approach, however, led to some friction, as certain state teams delayed their responses, prompting frustration among senior members of the Delhi-based social media unit.

In another development, former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, Vinod Rai, was celebrated in a gathering on Thursday with the unveiling of a coffee table book chronicling his life and career. Authored by B S Chauhan, an Indian Information Service officer, the book is the first of its kind dedicated to a former CAG. Rai, a Kerala-cadre IAS officer who retired in 2013, reflected on his journey during the event. A copy was also presented to the current CAG, K Sanjay Murthy.

Meanwhile, reporters attending Friday’s Cabinet briefing at the National Media Centre faced an unexpected disruption when mobile Internet services were found to be non-functional. The briefing, anticipated after PM Narendra Modi’s midnight message about measures to curb paper leaks, saw officials scrambling to provide Wi-Fi access to restore connectivity.
