A new disclosure has emerged in the suspected death case of model and actress Tweesha Sharma. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the matter, has made serious allegations in its counter affidavit filed before the Supreme Court.

According to the investigating agency, Tweesha’s accused mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, had tried to collect CCTV footage connected with the scene of the incident on the very next day after Tweesha’s death.

The CBI has said that the activities linked to evidence from the scene of the incident, as well as the CCTV footage, are part of its investigation. The agency is examining what happened to the evidence and how the footage connected with the scene was sought after following the death.

The CBI has also referred to the role of a retired judge in its response filed before the Supreme Court. The agency has alleged that there was an attempt to influence the crime scene or to arrange facts connected with it in their favour.

The allegations made in the Supreme Court have once again brought the role of the mother-in-law under scrutiny. They have also raised fresh questions about the evidence collected after the incident and the activities that took place immediately after Tweesha’s death.

At present, the CBI’s investigation is focused on the events that followed the incident, the CCTV footage linked to the scene and the alleged attempt to influence the evidence.

The case has returned to the spotlight after the investigating agency shared these details in its counter affidavit. The CBI’s allegations are part of the ongoing investigation into Tweesha Sharma’s suspected death.
