Anantapur meeting boosts youth engagement through collaborative initiatives

In a significant step towards fostering youth development, MYBharat Anantapur, under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, convened the District Samanvay Committee Meeting at its meeting hall. The event aimed to strengthen inter-departmental coordination and enhance youth participation in government and community programmes.

Collaborative Efforts for Youth Development

The meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from government departments, educational institutions, NGOs, youth organisations, NSS, NCC, and the Indian Red Cross Society. Among the attendees were MYBharat programme in-charge G. Sreenivasulu, National Youth awardee Bisathi Bharath, and RUDSETI director Jahnavi.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Bharath underscored the importance of the District Samanvay Committee as a platform to strengthen youth engagement. He called for enhanced collaboration among government entities, educational institutions, and voluntary organisations to ensure the effective implementation of youth-centric initiatives.

Expanding Awareness and Opportunities

A key focus of the meeting was the MYBharat Intensive Registration Awareness Drive. Discussions revolved around strategies to boost youth enrolment on the MYBharat platform, particularly in educational institutions and local communities. To facilitate this, dignitaries unveiled MYBharat Registration Awareness Posters featuring QR codes for seamless registration.

Mr. Bharath also outlined the array of opportunities available through MYBharat, including programmes such as Youth Club Development, Future Leaders Boot Camps, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Sports Meets, Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD), Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament (VBYP), and Experiential Learning Programmes (ELP). These initiatives are designed to nurture leadership, volunteerism, and nation-building among young Indians.

Commitment to Viksit Bharat@2047

The meeting concluded with a unified commitment from all participating departments and organisations to work collaboratively for the successful implementation of youth development programmes. The collective goal is to empower young people to play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, a roadmap for India's progress over the next two decades.

This gathering underscores the government's focus on youth as a driving force for national development, with MYBharat serving as a crucial platform to connect and empower young Indians.
