Socialist Party launches student drive in Bisouli, pledges education reforms

A Socialist Party-led student awareness and membership drive was conducted in the Bisouli assembly constituency on Wednesday, targeting education reform and youth engagement ahead of future electoral contests.

The campaign was organised under the leadership of Jahid Gazi, district president of the Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, as part of the Socialist PDA Student Awareness and Membership Campaign. The membership drive in the assembly area was led by Khushboo Ali, who holds the positions of state secretary and district in-charge.

During the event, Socialist Party leader Satish Premi outlined the party's vision for transforming the education sector if a Socialist Party government comes to power. He said that education would be linked directly to employment opportunities and that the education policy would undergo radical changes to make the system transparent. Premi emphasised that satisfied students and youth form the main axis of development for the country and the state, adding that no state can prosper without them.

State secretary Khushboo Ali urged students to participate actively in the membership campaign and contribute their suggestions related to education.

The programme saw the prominent presence of several party functionaries including Somesh Pratap Singh, district president of Lohiya Vahini, Rajeev Yadav, Vinod Yadav, assembly president Anshul Yadav, Arvind Yadav, Prince Kumar Bhatt, Aditya Yadav, Vikas Patel, Ravindra Yadav, Kapildev, Krishnaveer Singh Yadav, Jitesh Kumar Pal, and Mohammad Shakir, among others.
