Amethi Police Inspect Transport Buses Under Meet and Greet Safety Drive

Amethi police conducted a wide-ranging checking campaign under the Meet and Greet initiative to ensure safe travel for women and the safety of passengers. During the campaign, officials inspected buses operated by the Transport Corporation, checking the emergency gates, firefighting equipment and other safety arrangements.

The police also examined whether the buses had adequate facilities to protect women passengers and to deal with emergency situations. The campaign focused on checking safety provisions inside the buses and ensuring that the required standards were being followed.
