Three vehicle thieves arrested in Amethi with two stolen motorcycles recovered
Three alleged vehicle thieves were arrested by Bhale Sultan Shaheed Smarak police in Amethi with two stolen motorcycles, marking a significant success under Operation Chakravyuh.
The arrested accused have been identified as Yunus Mohammad alias Babu, Bilal Ahmad and Jagdish Kumar Saroj. Police recovered two motorcycles from their possession during the operation.
One of the recovered motorcycles, an HF Deluxe bike, was stolen around one and a half years ago from the Kudebhar police station area in Sultanpur. The second motorcycle, a Passion Pro bike, was stolen approximately two months ago from near Arma Hospital located in Inhauna.
Police investigations revealed that the accused would erase or remove the number plates of the stolen motorcycles out of fear of being caught. This modus operandi helped them evade detection while in possession of the stolen vehicles.
Bhale Sultan police have initiated legal proceedings in the matter and sent the arrested accused to jail following their apprehension. The operation has helped recover vehicles that had been reported missing from different locations over the past several months.
