U.P. International Trade Show 2026 set to position State as Globa

The Uttar Pradesh government said on Thursday (September 24, 2026) that the U.P. International Trade Show 2026 is expected to position the State as a Global Sourcing Hub, with five lakh visitors expected at the event in Greater Noida.

UPITS 2026 will be held from 25, 29 September, 2026, at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, bringing together global buyers, domestic businesses, investors and consumers.

The government said the trade show will give significant visibility to One District, One Cuisine (ODOC), placing it within a larger platform designed for business, sourcing and consumer engagement.

Inauguration and valedictory plans

“UPITS 2026 will be inaugurated by Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Home Minister, along with Shri Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh,” Bhupendra Chaudhary, Minister for MSME, Uttar Pradesh government, said while addressing a press conference.

He said the valedictory session of the event will be graced by Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Defence Minister.

Mr. Chaudhary described the MSME sector as the backbone of Uttar Pradesh’s economy and said the State government is committed to creating an ecosystem where enterprises can grow, innovate and compete in global markets.

He said Uttar Pradesh has more than 100 lakh MSME units across the State, which reflects its “immense entrepreneurial strength”.

According to Mr. Chaudhary, UPITS 2026 will bring businesses, manufacturers, exporters and buyers together on a common platform.

He said the event will expand market access for local enterprises and create new avenues for investment, business growth and employment generation.

Six partner countries in fourth edition

Mr. Chaudhary said a defining feature of UPITS 2026 will be its expanding international character, with six partner countries participating in the fourth edition.

The six partner countries are Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Belarus and Vietnam.

He said their presence is expected to create opportunities for international business partnerships, technology collaborations, sourcing, investment and market linkages across a wide range of sectors.

Mr. Chaudhary said the participation of these six nations reinforces the show’s three-dimensional approach of connecting international buyers, domestic B2B buyers and domestic B2C visitors on a single platform.

That format places overseas buyers, Indian business-to-business participants and domestic consumer-facing visitors within the same trade show framework.

Buyer registrations from 72 countries

Mr. Chaudhary said the international buyer ecosystem is already expanding ahead of the show.

According to the latest preparatory update cited by him, foreign buyer registrations have been received from 72 countries.

He also said registrations are continuing to grow as the event approaches.

FIEO is facilitating the international buyer outreach through the Hosted Buyer Programme.

The programme is designed to bring genuine buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, sourcing agents, procurement heads, trade associations and business enterprises to the show.

It includes facilities such as dedicated B2B matchmaking, networking opportunities and access to business sessions.

Focus on Uttar Pradesh’s economic ecosystem

UPITS 2026 will showcase the breadth of Uttar Pradesh’s economic ecosystem, according to the government’s description of the event.

The show will bring together established industries, MSMEs and ODOP Enterprises.

The government has positioned the event as a platform where international buyers, domestic businesses, investors and consumers can meet during the 25, 29 September, 2026 schedule at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida.

For Uttar Pradesh’s MSME sector, which Mr. Chaudhary called the backbone of the State’s economy, the show is being presented as a route to wider market access and global competition.

With more than 100 lakh MSME units across the State and foreign buyer registrations from 72 countries, the trade show is being framed as both a domestic enterprise platform and an international sourcing opportunity.
