Pharmaceutical employee dies in motorcycle crash near Hyderabad after high-speed accident

A pharmaceutical company employee from Maharashtra lost his life after the motorcycle he was travelling on crashed near Palamakula village in Shamshabad.

Madhav Taterao Chavan, 33, succumbed to his injuries around 10.40 p.m., while the motorcycle rider, Prashanth Gnaneshwar Unsanale, remains hospitalised with serious injuries.

Journey that ended in tragedy

Both Madhav and Prashanth worked at a pharmaceutical company in Jadcherla and lived in the town. The deceased was a native of Bhutmugli in Maharashtra's Latur and had been residing in Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar district.

The two had travelled to Budwel around 11 a.m. to visit a relative. They later began their return journey to Jadcherla on a motorcycle, with Prashanth riding and Madhav sitting pillion.

Loss of control at high speed

At around 4 p.m., when they reached Race Grand Dhaba near Palamakula village, Prashanth was allegedly riding at excessive speed and negligently, according to Shamshabad police. He lost control of the motorcycle, causing both men to fall on the road.

The two sustained severe injuries to their heads and other parts of the body. Bystanders alerted emergency services, and the injured were transported in a 108 ambulance to the Government Hospital in Shamshabad.

They were subsequently shifted to Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad for further treatment. Prashanth is undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

Following a complaint lodged by Madhav's cousin, Shamshabad police registered a case and began an investigation.
