Parag Tyagi Embarks on 21-Day Spiritual Sadhana in Memory of Late Wife Shefali Jariwala
Actor Parag Tyagi has paid an emotional tribute to his late wife, Shefali Jariwala, on the occasion of her first death anniversary as per the Hindu calendar. Marking the day with a heartfelt social media post, Parag shared a video reflecting on his memories of Shefali and the enduring bond he believes transcends physical existence.
In the video, Parag revealed that he has begun a 21-day spiritual practice, or sadhana, which commenced on the day of Shefali's death anniversary according to the Hindu Panchang. Explaining the purpose of this spiritual journey, he stated that he intends to dedicate all the positive energy and blessings generated through the practice to Shefali.
"Today, according to the Hindu Panchang, it has been a year since Pari left her physical form. From today, I have started a new 21-day sadhana in Brahma Muhurat," Parag said. He further added, "All the sadhanas I have done so far have had only one resolution, that whatever virtue, light, or fruit comes from them should first be attained by Pari."
Parag also shared his thoughts on the spiritual nature of love and the eternal connection he feels with Shefali. He expressed his belief that true relationships are not bound by the physical world, emphasizing that love originates from the soul. "Everyone thinks love comes from the body, but I believe love is not from the body, it is from the soul. And a relationship with the soul never breaks. That is why she is still with us. I feel it, and I am sure all of you feel it too," he said.
Encouraging Shefali's admirers to continue remembering her with affection and prayers, Parag added, "Just as you loved Pari before, continue to love her and pray for her." Over the past year, he has honored Shefali's memory through various personal tributes and initiatives celebrating her life and values.
Shefali Jariwala was a beloved figure in Indian entertainment, gaining nationwide fame with the iconic music video *Kaanta Laga*. She later connected with a new generation of fans through her appearance on the reality show *Bigg Boss 13*. Shefali passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42.
