New HOPCOMS Centre In Shivamogga To Sell Fruits, Juices From November 6

A new HOPCOMS centre at Gandhi Park on Balraj Urs Road will begin selling native and exotic fruits and fresh juices from November 6.

The centre is being opened by the Shivamogga district unit of the Horticultural Producers’ Cooperative Marketing and Processing Society.

Shivamogga HOPCOMS president R. Vijay Kumar announced the decision at a press conference on Monday.

He said the centre would offer customers high-quality produce along with fresh juices.

The initiative will give residents another place to buy fruit products through HOPCOMS, while supporting the growers associated with the society.

Mr. Kumar and the society’s directors appealed to city residents to visit the centre and support fruit growers.

The appeal links the new outlet’s opening with the society’s stated aim of helping fruit growers through its marketing activities.

HOPCOMS managing director K.R. Akshay and directors Sharat Mariyappa and Nagesh Naik were among those present at the press conference.
