Muzaffarnagar RLD Names Reena Jain District Secretary, Barkha Sharma Metropolitan President

Reena Jain has been given the responsibility of district secretary in the women’s wing of the Rashtriya Lok Dal in Muzaffarnagar. Barkha Sharma has been appointed metropolitan president.

The announcement was made during the declaration of the district executive committee of the Rashtriya Lok Dal women’s wing in Muzaffarnagar. The programme was held at the Rashtriya Lok Dal office on Circular Road under the leadership of district president Renu Tomar.

As part of the new organisational structure, Reena Jain was assigned the post of district secretary. Barkha Sharma was appointed metropolitan president. Women were also nominated to various posts at the metropolitan and assembly levels.

The formation of the new executive committee is aimed at strengthening the women’s organisation in the district. It also seeks to promote women’s political and social participation.

The executive committee was announced in accordance with the directions of Rashtriya Lok Dal national president Chaudhary Jayant Singh. It was approved by national general secretary organisation Trilok Tyagi and state president Aishwarya Raj Singh.

The appointments were made with the consent of Kapilawati Indrani, national president of Nari Shakti Sangathan (women’s wing), Parineeta Singh, state president of the women’s wing, and Indrani Tyagi, regional president of the Hastinapur women’s wing.

Reena Jain was congratulated after receiving the new responsibility. The organisation expressed the expectation that all the newly appointed office-bearers would play an active role in taking the party’s policies to the people and strengthening the women’s organisation.
