Morena Father-Son Seriously Injured in Alleged Lathi Attack Over Power Wire

A dispute over laying an electricity wire in Morena’s Param Singh Ka Pura village escalated into a lathi fight between two groups, leaving a father and his son seriously injured. The incident took place in the Civil Lines police station area. A video of the assault was also made.

Police have registered a case against four named accused on the complaint of the victims and started an investigation.

According to the information available, complainant Uday Singh Jatav’s son Ranjit Jatav and Bhura Jatav were bringing an electricity wire from another place to their home so that they could use electricity there. Harisingh Jatav, his sons Atendra and Pramod, and his nephew Nikesh Jatav began objecting to this.

The disagreement soon turned into a dispute. According to the allegation, the accused attacked Uday Singh Jatav with sticks. When his son Ranjit Jatav saw his father being beaten and went to rescue him, he was also assaulted.

Both Uday Singh Jatav and Ranjit Jatav were injured in the incident. The source material describes the injuries as serious.

Civil Lines police station in-charge TI Udaybhan Yadav said that the investigation is being conducted on the basis of a video connected with the incident. Police are examining the video along with the complaint and other details related to the assault.

TI Udaybhan Yadav said that the accused would be arrested after the investigation is completed. The police investigation is currently focused on the circumstances in which the dispute began, the assault involving the father and son, and the video made during the incident.
