Hindu Raksha Dal Workers Protest in Shamli Over Nahid Hasan Remark

Hindu Raksha Dal workers staged a protest in Shamli over a statement made by Kairana MLA Nahid Hasan. The workers reached Shamli to prepare for a sit-in outside Hasan’s residence, objecting to his ‘घर का घेर’ statement.

The protesters expressed anger at the MLA and made sharp statements targeting Nahid Hasan during the demonstration. They said that instead of merely surrounding the house, they would “turn the house into a heap”. The remarks were made in the context of their opposition to the statement attributed to the Kairana MLA.

The workers also strongly criticised Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. They made sharp statements against him while continuing their protest over Nahid Hasan’s remarks.

The protesters also expressed anger over the alleged “infiltrator” statement concerning Uttarakhandis. They described the statement as an insult to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said they were upset over it.

Hindu Raksha Dal workers had reached Shamli with the stated aim of holding a sit-in outside Nahid Hasan’s residence. Their protest has heated up the political atmosphere in the area. The MLA’s statement and the demonstration that followed it have intensified political activity in the district.

Lalit Sharma of Hindu Raksha Dal also spoke during the protest.
