They initially fled on a bike, which was later found abandoned near Sector-10 Leisure Valley, about 1.5 km from the crime scene. From there, they booked an auto to travel approximately 7.5 km to Kajheri village. Police are piecing together their movements using CCTV and other evidence.
The Punjab Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), led by ADGP Pramod Ban, has joined the search for the suspects. Chandigarh's Administrator and Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has also taken note of the case, holding a meeting with senior police officials to discuss security lapses.
