Brigitte Bardot's entire estate of 280 items sells out at Paris auction for €953,531

Personal belongings spanning the homes and decades of French cinema legend Brigitte Bardot sold for €953,531 (nearly US$1.15 million) including fees at a Paris auction that drew extraordinary public interest.

Every one of the more than 280 items from Bardot's estate found a buyer during the marathon sale at the Hôtel Drouot, auction house Millon confirmed. The bidding stretched across almost nine hours.

Intense public interest

Approximately 15,000 people visited the auction house over six days before the sale to view the possessions in person, underscoring the enduring fascination with the actress who died in 2025 at the age of 91.

The lots included personal mementoes from Bardot's two Saint-Tropez properties, La Madrague and La Garrigue, as well as items from her Paris flat. Bardot, who rose to international fame with films such as And God Created Woman, enjoyed a parallel career as a singer.

The auction house did not disclose which individual items commanded the highest prices, but the complete sell-through rate signals strong collector demand for objects connected to one of France's most iconic cultural figures.
