Earlier, the Indian women’s team produced a dominant performance against a Sri Lankan side that looked under pressure from the outset.

India’s bowlers then took centre stage and delivered a clinical performance, bowling Sri Lanka out for just 69.

Deepti Sharma led the bowling effort, finishing with an economy rate of 1.50 as the attack kept Sri Lanka in check throughout the innings.

India completed a 147-run victory after combining Mandhana’s 79 with a disciplined bowling display led by Deepti Sharma.
