APCRDA Engages Villagers in Amaravati Road Development Consultations

APCRDA Holds Gram Sabhas in Thulluru, Nelapadu on Amaravati Road Plans

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) organised Gram Sabhas in Thulluru and Nelapadu on Wednesday to gather public input on the Amaravati Master Plan and proposed road circulation network for the region’s development. Officials engaged with villagers to explain the plans and seek their suggestions.

Focus on Village Road Integration

The consultations were part of the West Central-1 and West Central-2 Grids under the Amaravati planning framework. APCRDA officials detailed the integration of existing village roads with the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) zones and outlined infrastructure upgrades designed to meet future needs.

Thulluru Special Deputy Collector P. Padmavathi and Nelapadu Special Deputy Collector G. Muralidhar informed residents that detailed surveys of current road networks and the proposed LPS roads were underway. The data collected would shape efficient circulation plans and support long-term infrastructure goals for the capital region.

Villagers Share Feedback

Residents actively participated in the discussions, offering input on the proposed road network and integration plans. Officials assured attendees that their feedback would be carefully reviewed before finalising the Village Circulation and Integration Plans for each settlement.

Next Consultations Scheduled

The APCRDA announced that similar Gram Sabhas would be held in phases across all villages in the capital region. The next meetings are scheduled for Thursday at Sakhamuru at 11 a.m. and Ainavolu at 2:30 p.m., with planning, social development, estates officials, and technical experts set to participate.
