The Hong Kong-based affiliate of China's Ant Group is rolling out the upgrade globally, with implementation scheduled to extend through winter.
AI Agents With Delegated Access
The new suite features accounts tailored for AI agents, allowing users to delegate specific tasks without relinquishing overall account control. The company described the initiative as its largest-ever product upgrade.
Deployment Across Four Platforms
Ant International is embedding AI-native solutions across all its platforms: cross-border payment network Alipay+, merchant services provider Antom, account and treasury platform WorldFirst, and digital credit platform Bettr. The global roll-out has already begun.
Peng Yang, CEO of Ant International, said the shift would prepare global commerce for a "fully agentised future", adding that fintech providers needed "a future-ready trust infrastructure" paired with financial AI models and connected AI-native solutions.
The upgrade represents Ant International's strategic pivot toward autonomous financial operations, enabling businesses to automate routine treasury and payment workflows while maintaining final oversight.
