The Sarvajan Sanatan Party has extended its full support to Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj’s “403 Gaumata Lucknow Campaign”, which focuses on the protection, respect and rights of cows in Uttar Pradesh.

The party said that cows from all 403 Assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh will come to Lucknow. It has asked the state government to ensure their security, medical care, fodder and arrangements for their stay.

The announcement was made in Amethi on 30 October 2026. Rakesh Tiwari, Uttar Pradesh in-charge of the Sarvajan Sanatan Party, said the party “heartily supports” the two historic questions raised by Param Pujya Uttarāmnāya Jyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj on the protection, respect and rights of cows.

In a statement issued today, Tiwari said the revered Shankaracharya had placed two main and serious questions before the government.

The first question was: “If the Uttar Pradesh government of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji has a relationship with Gaumata from birth to birth, then why the hesitation in declaring Gaumata as ‘Rajyamata’?”

The second question concerned the animal census in Uttar Pradesh. Tiwari said that, according to the state’s animal census, approximately 71 lakh cows went missing between 2019 and 2024. He asked where these cows had gone and demanded that the government immediately issue a “White Paper” on the serious matter.

Tiwari announced that, taking note of the sacred appeal made by the revered Shankaracharya Maharaj, the Sarvajan Sanatan Party would stand fully with the campaign. He said one Gaumata from every Assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh, making a total of 403 Gaumatas, would definitely reach Lucknow to meet the head of the state and “their cow-son Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji”.

He clarified that the campaign was not against anyone. According to him, it was being organised for Sanatan Dharma and for the respect of Gaumata and the protection of her rights.

Tiwari further said that after reaching Lucknow, the Gaumatas would first accept their honour at the Chief Minister’s residence or the reception venue. They would then return to their respective Assembly constituencies and bless the people there.

The party has demanded that the Uttar Pradesh government immediately declare Gaumata as “Rajyamata”. It has also demanded that the animal census figures for 2019-2024 be made completely public and that a high-level inquiry commission be formed to clarify the status of the 71 lakh missing cattle.

The party has also asked the state government to ensure proper arrangements for the welcome, security, medical care, fodder and accommodation of all 403 Gaumatas travelling to Lucknow.

The party said all its office-bearers and workers, along with cow devotees from across the country and Uttar Pradesh, were dedicated to this “pious campaign” with body, mind and wealth alongside Param Pujya Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj.

The statement ended with the slogans, “Jai Gaumata! Jai Sanatan!”

The communication was issued by Rakesh Tiwari, Uttar Pradesh in-charge, Sarvajan Sanatan Party. It also listed the office as Badrikashram Jyotishpeeth, Badrinath, Himalayas, and identified the national president of the Sarvajan Sanatan Party.
