A.P. Intermediate Supplementary Exam Results Declared; Over 1.83 Lakh Students Improve Performance

Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Nara Lokesh announced the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations on Thursday. Students can access their results through the official website, resultsbie.ap.gov.in, or via the WhatsApp Mana Mitra service at 9552300009. The supplementary exams have provided a significant boost to students, with over 1.83 lakh candidates improving their performance. Nearly 1 lakh students who previously failed in the regular examinations have now earned another opportunity to pursue higher education.

The Minister highlighted that the government’s initiative to offer improvement opportunities to both passed and failed Intermediate students has shown promising outcomes. In the first-year examinations, 59% of the 2,29,034 students who appeared for improvement—amounting to 1,35,435 candidates—enhanced their performance. Additionally, 39% of the 1,09,003 failed candidates, or 42,379 students, successfully passed the exams after reappearing.

For second-year students, 53% of the 91,303 candidates who sought improvement—48,149 students—achieved better results. Furthermore, 56% of the 1,02,018 failed candidates, or 57,327 students, passed the supplementary examinations. When combining the results of the regular Intermediate Public Examinations with the supplementary exams, the overall pass percentage reached 84% for first-year general students and an impressive 92% for second-year general students.

Minister Lokesh congratulated all successful candidates, commending their determination and hard work. He also extended his best wishes for their future endeavors in higher education and beyond.
