Odisha declares OTET 2026 results with over 53,000 candidates qualifying

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, released the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test result for 2026 on September 2, 2026, with 53,314 candidates qualifying out of 84,731 who appeared across both papers.

The overall pass percentage stands at 64.48 per cent. Candidates can now access their scorecards on the official website, bseodisha.ac.in, using their roll number and registered mobile number.

Examination details and turnout

The OTET 2026 examination was conducted on July 5 in two sittings. Paper I was held from 9 AM to 11:30 AM, while Paper II was conducted from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. A total of 1,51,999 candidates appeared for the examination, according to one source, while another report states that 97,151 candidates registered across both papers, of whom 84,731 appeared and 12,420 remained absent.

According to a notification issued by the board, candidates were able to check their results from 6 PM onwards on the official website, www.bseodisha.nic.in. Results can be accessed by logging in using their user ID and password or date of birth.

What the scorecard contains

The OTET Scorecard 2026 has been released along with the result declaration. The scorecard displays the candidate's name, roll number, total marks, and overall status. It also shows the marks obtained by individual candidates and includes details such as qualifying status for Paper 1 and Paper 2, as applicable.
