Madhya Pradesh to Hold Free Property Registration Drive in Villages on Dhanteras
Free property registration campaign in Madhya Pradesh villages on Dhanteras Bhopal.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh villages will see a special government campaign on the occasion of Dhanteras, with ministers, Members of Parliament and MLAs taking part in the free property registration drive under the Swamitva Yojana.
The state government has prepared a new action plan to ensure that eligible families receive the benefit of free registration. Under the plan, ministers, MPs and MLAs will visit their ancestral village or any one village of their choice on the day of Dhanteras.
Property documents linked to ownership rights will be handed over to eligible beneficiaries in the presence of these public representatives. The programme is aimed at providing eligible families under the Swamitva Yojana with legal rights over their property.
The government has set a target of completing 100% of the registrations in a single day. To meet this target, collectors have been instructed to keep the administrative staff and all necessary arrangements ready in advance.
The campaign is focused on ensuring that families eligible under the Swamitva Yojana receive legal recognition for their property. It is also intended to help take the benefits of government schemes directly to people living in rural areas.
Through the Dhanteras programme, the government is preparing to extend the benefits of the scheme to villages on a large scale. The presence of ministers, MPs and MLAs is planned as part of the exercise to distribute the property-related documents to eligible families and complete the registration process.
