Li Ka Shing Foundation and Disney to Offer Free Toy Story 5 Screenings

The Li Ka Shing Foundation and The Walt Disney Company have announced a joint initiative to provide 24,000 foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong with free tickets to watch Toy Story 5. Registration for the tickets will open at 9 PM on Wednesday via the online platform Klook, with seats distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Screenings Across Six Cinemas in August

The screenings will take place over four consecutive Sundays in August—on the 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th—at six Broadway Circuit cinemas located in Tsuen Wan, Taikoo Shing, Mong Kok, Kwun Tong, Central, and Yuen Long. Attendees will also receive complimentary popcorn, drinks, and a souvenir from Hong Kong Disneyland.

Continued Support for Migrant Workers

This initiative marks the latest collaboration between the Li Ka Shing Foundation, established by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing, and Disney to support the city’s migrant worker community. Over the past three years, the two organizations have jointly welcomed around 13,000 domestic helpers to Hong Kong Disneyland.

By offering these free movie screenings, the foundation and Disney aim to provide a gesture of appreciation to foreign domestic helpers, who play a vital role in many Hong Kong households.
