Government focus on making festivals happier for poor families
Sadabad MLA Pradeep Kumar said Diwali is a festival of happiness and celebration. He said he had personally seen poverty and the difficulties faced by ordinary people in a rural setting.
According to him, in earlier situations involving crop failure or drought, it became difficult for poor and farmer families even to celebrate festivals. He said the state government, under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister, was continuously working to bring happiness to the lives of poor and needy people.
Pradeep Kumar said the purpose of providing LPG cylinder refill facilities to Ujjwala beneficiaries before Diwali was to give relief to families. He said the government was working for the welfare of all sections of society without discrimination.
He added that the aim was to ensure that even the poorest person could celebrate Diwali, Holi and other festivals with happiness and prosperity.

Satya Prakash Patel also wished that Diwali would bring happiness, prosperity and well-being into everyone’s life.
Superintendent of Police Chiranjiv Nath Sinha also congratulated everyone on Diwali. He said an LPG cylinder was not only a means of cooking food, but also a symbol of convenience, independence and dignity for women.
1,87,267 Ujjwala beneficiaries in Hathras
District Supply Officer Vikas Kumar Gautam said the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana were to receive the benefit of two free LPG cylinder refills.
