Hathras House Assault Allegedly Leaves Several Injured, Police Begin Probe

A case of alleged assault after a group entered a house has come to light in Garhi Anta Vehra village, under the jurisdiction of Sadabad Kotwali in Hathras district. The incident allegedly involved around half a dozen strongmen, who entered the house and attacked people from the complainant’s side with sticks and batons.

Several people were injured in the assault. Some of those injured are said to be in serious condition. They were referred to a higher centre for treatment.

According to the information available, the accused entered the house before assaulting the people present there. A video of the alleged beating later went viral on social media, bringing the incident into discussion.

Following the incident, the complainant’s side submitted a written complaint against the accused at Sadabad Kotwali. The complaint sought action against those allegedly involved in the assault.
