Hathras Family Alleges Woman, Members Injured In Field Dispute Attack

A dispute over placing wood on the boundary ridge of an agricultural field in Naugaon village under the jurisdiction of Sadabad police station in Hathras’s Sadabad area allegedly turned violent, with a woman and several members of a family reportedly being injured in an attack involving sticks, batons and an iron rod.

The alleged incident took place on 9 October 2026 at around 9 am. The complainant, Vijay Kumar, son of Ramveer Singh and a resident of Naugaon village, has approached the police seeking justice. He has submitted an application to the station in-charge, demanding legal action against the accused.

According to the application submitted to the police, Vijay Kumar earns a livelihood through daily-wage labour and supports his family. He alleged that he was sitting at home with his family when Sanjay, son of Ramveer Singh, Sanjay’s wife Manoj Devi, and their sons Sanjay and August alias Ansh, allegedly arrived carrying sticks, batons and an iron rod.

The complainant alleged that the group began abusing him over the issue of placing wood on the boundary ridge of the field. Vijay Kumar said that when he told them he had not placed any wood there, the accused allegedly threatened to kill him and attacked him with sticks, batons and the iron rod.

According to Vijay Kumar, his wife Pushpa Devi reached the spot after hearing the noise. He alleged that the accused also assaulted her. The application states that she suffered serious injuries during the alleged attack. Injury marks were reported on her waist and palm, and her palm began bleeding, according to the complaint.

The complainant further stated that Ramveer Singh, son of Ratiram, and Sunil, son of Ramveer Singh, intervened during the incident. He said the two men tried to stop the assault and saved him and his family.

After the incident, Vijay Kumar said he called UP-112 and informed the police. However, he alleged that no immediate action was taken against the accused despite the information being provided.

In his application, Vijay Kumar has requested the police to take legal action against the accused and arrange a medical examination for his wife, Pushpa Devi. He has also expressed apprehension that the accused could cause further harm to his family.

The dispute is related to the alleged placing of wood on the boundary ridge of the agricultural field. The allegations made in the complaint have not been established independently.

Vijay Kumar submitted the application to the station in-charge on 12 October 2026. Through the application, he has sought registration of a report and appropriate legal action in the matter.
