Former YSRCP MLA Subba Rao joins Jana Sena with cadre from three constituencies

Former Prathipadu YSRCP MLA Varupula Subba Rao joined the Jana Sena Party along with two other leaders from the YSR Congress, bringing their entire cadre from three Assembly segments in Kakinada District.

Mr. Subba Rao was inducted into Jana Sena in the presence of party president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan. Accompanying him were former Peddapuram Municipal Vice Chairman Nekkanti Sai Prasad and former Samarlakota Municipal Chairperson Gangireddy Aruna.

Mass Induction From Three Constituencies

The switch enabled the joining of YSRCP cadre from the Assembly segments of Peddapuram, Prathipadu and Jaggampeta in Kakinada District. The defection marks a significant expansion of Jana Sena's grassroots presence in the region, drawing workers from multiple urban and rural constituencies.

Welcoming the YSRCP leaders and the cadre into the party, Mr. Pawan Kalyan asked them to strive to strengthen the party in Kakinada District. The move consolidates Jana Sena's position in eastern Andhra Pradesh, where it governs in alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.
