Dewas Officer Dilip Puri Dies After Eicher Allegedly Carrying Liquor Crushes Him

A tragic incident has been reported from Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh, where Khategaon police station in-charge Dilip Puri was crushed by an Eicher vehicle allegedly carrying illegal liquor. He was seriously injured in the incident and died during treatment despite efforts by doctors.

During the operation, the police team tried to stop a suspicious Eicher vehicle. It is alleged that the driver attempted to escape from the police by driving the vehicle onto the divider. During this attempt, the vehicle’s rear wheel went over Dilip Puri.

The police officer suffered serious injuries in the incident. He was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. According to the report, CPR was administered for about two hours, and doctors made every possible effort to save his life. However, Dilip Puri could not be saved and died during treatment.
