The camp ran from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide medical services to the public. Dr. Harikrishna, Dr. Ravi Kumar and Dr. Shankar Prasad, along with their staff, examined patients and provided medical advice. All medicines prescribed by the doctors were distributed free of cost.
K. Ramesh Babu, Head of the Department of Yoga and Consciousness, attended the camp along with Dr. Tulasi Rao, a naturopathic doctor. Dr. Tulasi Rao thanked the doctors and supporting staff for providing the medical services.
Mr. Ramesh Babu congratulated R. Gopala Krishna, Director of the AYUSH Department, for initiating the free medical services programme. The initiative brought specialist Ayurvedic care directly to members of the public at no charge, combining consultation, examination and medication in a single session.
