80-Year-Old Man Dies in Hathras Road Accident, One Referred to Agra

An 80-year-old man died after being hit in a road accident in Hathras, while another person was referred to Agra for treatment. The accident took place in front of Girraj Petrol Pump in the Hathras Gate police station area on Friday morning. Two other people were also injured in the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Devdutt Sharma, son of Brahmdev Sharma, a resident of Labour Colony in the Hathras Gate area. According to the information available, Devdutt Sharma had left his home in the morning to buy cement. During this time, he was seriously injured after being hit by a Bullet bike in front of Girraj Petrol Pump.

The incident was described as a collision involving an unidentified vehicle, while police said that the accident had taken place involving the Bullet bike. Two other people were also caught in the path of the bike and suffered injuries.

All three injured people were taken to Bagla District Hospital in Hathras for treatment. Doctors at the hospital declared Devdutt Sharma dead. The condition of another person was reported to be serious, following which he was referred to Agra for further treatment.

The third person did not suffer major injuries. After receiving treatment at the hospital, he went back to his home.

After receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot. According to police, the accident involved the Bullet bike. The police took the bike into custody for further action.

Police also took custody of the elderly man’s body and sent it for post-mortem examination. Police said that necessary action was being taken in the matter.
